Project Brief: The Christian Medical College and Hospital Vellore and Centre for Stem Cell Research (a unit of inStem, Bengaluru) in collaboration with Govt of Odisha are implementing a project titled: Control of Thalassemia & Sickle Cell Disease, for Odisha to address and control the Major Hemoglobin Disorders such as Sickle Cell Anemia and Thalassemia prevalence in Odisha.
Job description:
- To Provide Pre and Post Counseling of Antenatal Women and Family for PND at selected medical colleges in Odisha.
- To Train ANM / District hospital / Private Hospital Nurses in Pre and Post Test Counseling.
- To manage the sentinel surveillance centre at selected medical colleges in Odisha.
- To assist the sample collection (Cord Blood Sample Collection) procedure for the project.
- Sample management and transportation to the genetic lab.
- Report generation and inventory management with regard to the project.
- Data generation and reporting to the PMU.
Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing preferably with two-year experience
Salary scale: Consolidated pay (Rs 32,000/-)
