Centre for Stem Cell Research, Vellore, India, invites abstracts for oral and poster presentation from researchers working in the area of cell and gene therapy. This symposium will feature a wide range of talks and discussions in the areas of Immune Cell Therapy, Challenges in Gene and Cell Therapy, Application of iPSC technology, Gene Therapy, Non-Viral Nucleic Acid Transfer, Gene Editing, Organoids and Disease Modelling.

 Eligibility: 

  • This is open to research fellows, postdoctoral fellows and young investigators working in the area of cell and gene therapy and its allied research.
  • Please note that only participants attending the symposium in person will be eligible for poster and oral presentations.

 Abstract: 

Abstracts should be 300-400 words or less and must briefly state the hypothesis of the study, describe the materials/methods used, report the results and summarize the research findings. Abstracts may include up to two graphic attachments (i.e., tables, illustrations and pictures).

Guidelines
All accepted abstracts will be categorized as either: Poster Presentation or Oral Presentation

Poster Presentations

  • A dedicated poster session will be organized during the symposium.
  • Presenters are expected to be available near their posters during the assigned time slot for interaction and discussion.
  • Poster dimensions and formatting instructions will be shared with selected participants in advance.

Oral Presentations

  • Selected abstracts will be allotted a 10-minute time slot, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session.
  • Presenters are expected to adhere strictly to the allotted time to ensure smooth session flow.

General Instructions

  • Final decisions regarding the mode of presentation (oral/poster) will rest with the scientific review committee.
  • All presenters must be registered participants of the symposium.
  • The CSCR reserves the right to change and revise the following deadlines.
  • All deadlines are in effect at 11:59 PM (IST) on the day it is posted.
  • Online registration is mandatory for abstract submission.
  • Selected posters will be notified by E-mail.
